St. Pete Preservation has many fun and engaging events every year – so there’s sure to be something to tickle your fancy!  

Next up is our Annual Benefit, "One Hundred Years of Baseball and Fashion."  It will be Saturday March 28, 2009, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the historic St. Petersburg Woman's Club, 40 Snell Isle Blvd.

Our guest of honor will be Linda Ruth Tosetti, granddaughter of Babe Ruth.  Other highlights include baseball player reenactors from major league teams that have spring trained in St. Pete since 1914, baseball stories from long-time city natives, a talk about the history and architecture of the Mediterranean Revival Woman's Club building, silent auction of artwork and baseball memorabilia, music for listening and dancing, sumptuous hors d'oeurvres/lavish desserts/cash bar, and of course lots of fun!  Linda Ruth will also do autograph signings.
