Each Saturday - Saturday Morning Market, 9a to 2p (except Grand Prix weekend). The Saturday Morning Market, the largest market in the southeast, is open.  The market is a great place to visit to buy fruit and vegetables, baked goods or crafts, to relax and listen to the music or to just people watch!  The market is located adjacent to Al Lang Stadium on 1st Street and 1st Avenue South.  Come visit the St. Petersburg Preservation booth where you can purchase a waterfront parks centennial poster or note cards or an SPP t-shirt.  The acclaimed poster and notecards feature beautiful artwork by local artist Carrie Jadus.

Waterfront Park Centennial Celebration - City council has declared 2010 to be the Waterfront Parks Centennial Year and St. Petersburg Preservation is sponsoring a number of fun and free events to celebrate the centennial.  A special website for the centennial has been created at www.stpeteparks100.org.  Go to the website to learn about watefront park history, to find out about all of the centennial events or to purchase the beautiful centennial commemorative poster.  The next event will be "Persepctives on the Parks" on Thursday evening, April 29 at Studio@620.
