DESCRIPTION:The City  Community Preservation Commission unanimously recommended that the Historic  Detroit Hotel – St. Petersburg's most historic building – be designated a local  landmark by a vote of 7-0.   \n \nThe final step  will be a hearing by the City Council on Thursday, March 4, 8:45a at City  Hall.   It’s important that we have a good community showing of support at this  hearing and hope you will join us.\n \nPlease let us  know if you will attend by registering below. You may come in silent support, or  speak in support of the landmarking (three-minute time limit). \n \nAnd please send  an e-mail supporting the landmarking to City Council c/o Kimberly.Hinder@stpete.org.\n \nThanks to  everyone for supporting this most important landmarking!
