Movies in the Park, the best little event on the waterfront! Each movie evening starts with live music at 7 pm followed by the movie on the big outdoor screen at dusk (usually around 8 pm). The fun takes place in North Straub Park, between 4th Ave. & 5th Ave. NE at Beach Drive. Come early and enjoy live music before the movie; enjoy a picnic or purchase food from one of the Saturday Morning Market’s favorite vendors who will be set up on-site. A limited number of folding chairs will be available, but better yet, bring your own blanket or low seat! Bicycling to movies is a fun way to arrive and free bicycle valet parking will be provided by the St. Petersburg Bike Co-Op. Free!

On May 7, SPP is excited to present Harper Lee's Pultizer Prize winning story and Academy Award winning film classic, To Kill A Mockingbird.  The 1962 film stars Gregory Peck in one of his most unforgettable roles as Atticus Finch, an attorney and father to two children in a small southern town set in the 1930's. Robert Duval is Boo Radley!  Music before the movie by Ramblegrass.
