Movies in the Park comes to west St. Pete!!!  NOTE:  this movie night will be located on the waterfront opposite the Admiral Farragut Academy at 9th Ave. N. and Park St. Like the downtown Movie in the Park evenings, the event starts with live music at 7 pm followed by the movie on the big outdoor screen at dusk Come early and enjoy the music; bring a picnic or purchase food from one of the Saturday Morning Market’s favorite vendors who will be set up on-site. A limited number of folding chairs will be available, but better yet, bring your own blanket or low seat! Bicycling to movies is a fun way to arrive and free bicycle valet parking will be provided by the St. Petersburg Bike Co-Op. Moives in the Park is Free!

Downtown may claim it has the Fountain of Youth but west side has the alien cocoons in the pool. On April 30 SPP is proud to kickoff Movies in the Park - Westside with the 1985 hit film  Cocoon! Join Don Ameche and the rest of the stars as who came to St. Pete 30 years ago when the 'Burg was a different place! Evening's music will be by the Dancing Chickens, led by westsider Lance Lubin.
