It’s Grand Prix weekend and this tour offers a fun alternative to the race. In fact, the close proximity of Uptown to downtown makes it easy for part of the family to be at the race while the non-race fans in the family enjoy a walking tour! Historic Uptown is one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods and is a 160 acre National Register historic district. The district derives its significance from the varied and excellent examples of popular styled homes from the early 1900's thru the 1920's which tour participants will have an opportunity to experience during the neighborhood stroll and tour. As a bonus, the neighborhood’s annual yard sale takes place in Round Lake Park so tour goers are welcome to come early to browse among the items for sale.

Reservations are recommended but not required.  Tour is free to SPP members and just $5 for non-members. Tour will start at the gazebo in historic Round Lake Park (across the street from the apartment building at 465 7th Ave. N.).
