SPP is excited to bring Movies in the Park to Midtown!!! NOTE: This movie night only takes place in the beautiful garden behind the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum building, 2240 9th Ave. S. The museum is a part of what makes the 'Burg special and a great spot for a great movie evening!
Convenient parking will be available immediately across the street from the museum. Or, better yet, use the new Coast Bike Share to bicycle to Movies at Midtown. The museum is just a short distance from the Pinellas Trail and a bike share station is a short stroll from the museum. Bike valet parking will be available too!
Like the downtown Movie in the Park evenings, the event starts with live music at 7 pm followed by the movie on the big outdoor screen at dusk Come early and enjoy the music; bring a picnic or purchase food on-site from some of the best foodie places in the 'Burg, each a locally owned business located on the "Deuces", 22nd St. S. A limited number of folding chairs will be available, but better yet, bring your own blanket or low seat! Movies in the Park is Free! Movies at Midtown is an alcohol free event. No pets allowed.
