SPPI Bronze Plaque

St. Petersburg Preservation has sponsored the making of a bronze plaque to sell to owners of contributing structures in the National Register of Historic Places listed Downtown St. Petersburg Historic District.

Already a part of the District, no restrictions are placed on a building through the purchase of a plaque. The City of St. Petersburg Community Preservation Commission has given approval of the manufacturing and installation of the plaque in the "Monuments and Markers Staff Report" which will be provided upon purchase of the plaque.

The boundaries of the District include Central Avenue to 5th Avenue North and Beach Drive NE to Martin Luther King Street. Please call or email to confirm addresses of contributing structures.

Mounting the National Register plaque on a building in downtown St. Petersburg would enhance property values, quality of life and sense of community through recognition and prestigue.

The plaque is solid bronze. It is available for $390 which includes a 1 year membership in St. Petersburg Preservation, the City approval to mount the plaque, delivery, installation instructions and hardware.
